Insurance

We see clients from many insurance plans. Please bring your insurance card with you, and we will scan it into our computer system. We know it is not always easy for you to know everything about insurance. We will work with you to ensure we are following the right process for your insurance company. We also ask that you notify us if your insurance changes at any point during your visits with us.

The health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) requires that we notify clients of our privacy practices. Below are two downloadable documents for to review.

Appointments

Please plan to arrive at our office at least twenty minutes early, (unless you have down loaded the intake forms on line and filled them out). This allows you to provide us with your up to date insurance, or any changes that you feel are relevant in your history. We will also provide you with information about the HIPAA as well as information about limits of confidentiality and the realistic expectations one can have for psychotherapy.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to keep your appointment, please contact our office as soon as possible. We require a minimum 24 hours notice to avoid a $25 cancellation fee.

Payment

We collect co-payments at the time of your visit as required by your insurance plan. If you are paying for your own health care we request that you pay for your visit at on the day of service. For your convenience we accept checks, and cash. We also accept payment by paypal on line; however if paypal is used, we must charge $ 4.00 in addition to the cost of the session to cover the cost of the paypal transaction. We do not accept direct credit or debit card transactions.

About Telephone Sessions

All Phone Consults are $85.00 and are payable by Mastercard Visa and PayPal. Please call to schedule your appointment after check-out.
